Terms and conditions

Please note This is a convenience translation. In case of any discrepancy the German version, Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, is legally authoritative.

§ 1 Scope, supplier

These terms apply to all orders placed through this online shop with Fürst Pückler Salz Bad Muskau, owner Kurt Korte, Weinbergweg 100, 02953 Bad Muskau, Germany. Deviating terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to them.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. By placing products in the basket, proceeding to checkout and completing payment you make a binding offer to purchase.

The contract is concluded when we accept your order by order confirmation by e-mail or by dispatching the goods. An automatically generated acknowledgement of receipt does not constitute acceptance.

We store the contract text. Order data and these terms are sent to you by e-mail. The contract language is German; orders via the English or Polish version of this site are equally possible, with the German version prevailing in case of doubt.

§ 3 Prices

The prices shown at the time of the order apply. All prices are final prices. Under § 19 of the German VAT Act no VAT is charged and therefore none is shown (small business rule). Shipping costs stated on the shipping and payment page are added and shown separately before you place the order.

§ 4 Payment

Payment is made through the payment provider Stripe by PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract.

§ 5 Delivery

We deliver within Germany. Unless stated otherwise the delivery time is 1 – 3 Werktage after receipt of payment. If an item is unavailable we will inform you without delay and refund any payment already made. Collection in Bad Muskau is possible by prior arrangement.

§ 6 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid for in full.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal; details are set out in our withdrawal instructions.

§ 8 Warranty

The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. Please note: our salt contains no anti-caking agents. Caking of the crystals in humid storage is normal product behaviour and does not constitute a defect.

§ 9 Product information

Mandatory information on ingredients, allergens and nutrition is given on each product page. The details on the label of the product actually delivered are always decisive.

§ 10 Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 11 Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of their habitual residence.
