Privacy notice

The short version This website sets no cookies for advertising or analytics. There is no tracking, no statistics service, no social media components, no embedded map and no fonts loaded from third-party servers. That is why you will not find a consent banner here – there is simply nothing to consent to.

2. Visiting the website (hosting)

This site is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA, and Netlify EU). When a page is accessed, technically necessary data are processed in server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless and secure operation of the site. A data processing agreement is in place with Netlify; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.

3. Shopping basket

So that your basket survives moving between pages, the items and quantities you selected are stored in your browser's local storage. These data do not leave your device unless you proceed to checkout and contain no personal data.

This storage is strictly necessary for the service you expressly requested and is therefore permitted without consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. You can empty the basket at any time or delete the data via your browser settings.

4. Ordering and payment

Orders are processed via the payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). When you go to checkout, the items in your basket are transmitted to Stripe and you enter your delivery, billing and payment details there.

Your full payment details – such as card numbers or PayPal credentials – are processed exclusively by Stripe. We never receive or store them. From Stripe we receive the information required for delivery and accounting: name, delivery address, billing address, e-mail address, items ordered and payment status.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and, for retention, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR together with commercial and tax retention obligations. Order and invoice data are retained for ten years accordingly.

5. Shipping

To deliver your order we pass your name and delivery address to the shipping company engaged (DHL). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

6. Contact and trade forms

If you write to us via one of the forms, we process the details you provide in order to answer your enquiry. The forms are processed via Netlify Forms. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the details once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no retention obligations apply.

To protect against automated submissions the forms contain a field invisible to humans. No additional data are collected and no external service is involved.

7. No further disclosure

Beyond the cases described above your data are not passed on to third parties. We do not sell data and do not carry out profiling.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).

To exercise these rights simply write to info@fuerstpueckler-salz.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the competent authority here is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

9. Changes

We adapt this notice when the website or the legal situation changes. The version available here applies.
